Pared Town rises among sharp canyons, where red cliffs glow under the setting sun. Narrow paths twist between the rocks and echoes of every step roll like thunder. The town itself is carved into the cliffs, its houses are made half rock, half wood and stand strong against the desert winds. Life here is harsh. Merchants value their water more than gold and travelers tell stories of bandits watching them from the ridges. Yet those who endure the heat and dust often find hidden treasures in the canyons — and glory in surviving what others fear.
